Samhain, the Wiccan New Year, falls on October 31st.
Wiccans say farewell to the God, but celebrate the
knowledge of His return at Yule. Samhain is a time
for reflection, of looking back over the previous
year. It is also the time to come to terms with the
phenomena of death. On Samhain, the veil between the
worlds of the living and dead is thin, allowing for
communication between the worlds.
